If Alejandro Mayorkas did not agree with Biden’s open border policies, he could have resigned. No one “forced” him to do anything, as he headed the worst border crises in American history. Nonetheless, his policies will no longer be the status quo, as they have been proven to be deeply unpopular with the American people. And just days before Trump’s second term, the best apology he has to Americans is that "Decisions are made.”

Mayorkas probably caused the most destruction of any unelected official, and it’s not even close. The country may never be the same after he headed the department, and he did not even acknowledge any of that during the last four years.

And what sort of nonsense is that? "Decisions are made, and then everyone marches in unity.” He cannot even pretend to care, and there is nothing more upsetting than that.

He did what he did at his own volition. He could have stepped down at any moment if he disagreed with any demand or policy. Also, who made these decisions, if not him? Who gave the orders? We can almost be certain Sleepy Joe barely even knew what day it was most of the time.

The number of illegal border crossings hit record highs in fiscal years 2023 and 2024, according to data tracked by Customs and Border Protection. A total of about 8.5 million migrant encounters have occurred along the U.S.-Mexico border during Biden’s presidency.

Mayorkas claimed “the border is secure” in remarks delivered in July 2022 at the Aspen Security Forum. “We are making the border more secure. That has been a historic challenge,” he added.

The fact that he tried to gaslight Americans for years shows he really couldn't care less about the damage he caused.

All this man did was lie; history will not kindly note that "decisions were made."
